From December 3 to 4, 2022, Chen Lu, a professor at the SME and the research fellow of CWAS of UESTC, and Chen Ning, a doctoral candidate from SME of UESTC, were invited to participate in the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Professional Committee of Management Psychology of China Association of Social Psychology.
The Professional Committee of Management Psychology of the China Association of Social Psychology, the Business School of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, and the Yunnan Association of Social Psychology hosted the meeting. The topic of the annual meeting is “Stimulating Organizational Resilience: The Power of Active Recovery,” which aims to thoroughly implement the spirit of “improving the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics and accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises” in the report of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, and integrates enterprise actions into the overall situation of national development, and helps Chinese enterprises improve organizational resilience. The guests included the Professor Sun Jianmin of the Renmin University of China, Researcher Zhang Jianxin, President of the China Association of Social Psychology, Professor Li Zhengbiao, Vice President of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Professor Yang Zengxiong, President of Business School of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Professor Yin Keli, President of Yunnan Association of Social Psychology and other well-known scholars, as well as many experts, scholars, and students in the field of organizational behavior and human resource management.
Professor Chen Lu served as commentator of the “Innovative Leadership, Team and Organizational Factors” session. In the session, Professor Chen Lu commented on the reports of scholars from Dalian University of Technology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Beijing University of Science and Technology. Chen Ning, a doctoral candidate under the guidance of Professor Chen Lu, presented a paper on the theme of “Digital leadership and innovative team performance in the West African context.” This paper is a preliminary finding of CWAS-funded project “Research on the Concept and dimension of Digital Leadership in the West African Context and Its Impact on Team Innovative Performance” led by Chen Ning. Focusing on digital leadership and team innovative performance in West Africa, this paper explores the influence mechanism and boundary condition of digital leadership on team innovative performance from the perspective of team self-regulation theory. This paper aims to guide West African enterprises to develop digital leadership and promote digital transformation. The experts at the meeting had a warm discussion on the relevant topics of this paper, which laid a solid foundation for the research team to further study in the West African context.
