In December 2022, "The world Guide to Ghana" was published by Social Science Press, whose editor in Chief is Professor Zhao Shurong from CWAS of UESTC, with a preface written by Professor Li Anshan. This book is part of the National Key Book Publishing Programme of the 14th Five-Year Plan in China and is a core national research work. Compared with the old edition, the new edition“The world Guide” has been improved in both form and content to bring better reading enjoyment to readers. Professor Li Ansan in his preface acknowledges the contribution of the book. Professor Li states that "The world Guide to Ghana" has enriched our knowledge of Ghana based on indigenous Ghanaian sources, and he expects the Centre for West African Studies to contribute more to cultural cooperation between China and Africa.
The book program“The world Guide” includes a series of books published by the Social Science Press and is a major project and key publishing project of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The Book Series are written with the participation of authoritative experts from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and related fields in China, and is also the first large-scale, systematic and comprehensive book series in the history of Chinese publishing to provide an up-to-date account of the worldwide countries and major international organizations. With its elaborate binding and authoritative and unbiased content, this is an encyclopedic and large international reference set.
