On December 13, 2023, the delegation led by the President of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) visited the West African Research Center of UESTC. Members of the delegation are Professor Johnson Nyarko Boampong, Vice-Chancellor of Cape Coast University, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, Vice Chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Prof. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi, Dean of Office of International Relations University of Cape Coast, Prof Amo Ofori, Ghana Director, Conficious Institute, UCC, Ms. Elizabeth Yankah, Administrative Sec of the Vice Chancellor, and Ms. Eoumei, and Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute, UCC.

The delegation visited the CWAS for exchange and communication,and Zhao Shurong, director of the CWAS, introduced the history, development and research fields of the center. Zhao said that UCC has established friendly relations with CWAS, and she hoped that further exchanges and cooperation could be strengthened between the two sides.
