On June 20, the School of International Education held the 2024 International Student Graduation Symposium, attended by Vice Principal Luo Guangchun, who extended his blessings to the graduates. Professor Zhao Shurong, director of the Center of West African Studies, was invited to attend the symposium.Sital, an international student from Nepal in the SPA, was invited to attend as a representative and was the first to speak, introducing herself in Chinese and expressing heartfelt gratitude to the school and teachers for their support. Representatives from various schools shared their experiences and future plans, reflecting on their wonderful time studying in China and expressing gratitude to their alma mater and mentors. Relevant college and functional department heads also attended the symposium.
Subsequently, the School of International Education held the Chinese Government Excellence Scholarship Student Symposium. At the meeting, leaders from relevant departments and the school affirmed the outstanding performance of the Excellence Scholarship students, recognizing them as essential bridges for cultural exchange and as excellent international talents who understand and appreciate China. Six Excellence Scholarship student representatives from the SPA spoke in turn, sharing their learning experiences and offering suggestions for the school’s teaching management.
