The School of Public Administration (SPA) held 2024 Farewell Event for international student on July 1st. CPC Party Committee Secretary of SPA Zheng Yutao, Vice Dean Han Hong, Professor Zhao Shurong, and Associate Professor Kuang Yalin attended the event, along with over a dozen international students who gathered to reminisce and share their experiences at SPA.
Professor Zhao Shurong began the event by warmly congratulating the students on their achievements. She offered valuable suggestions for their future endeavors and emphasized the importance of continuing their academic pursuits, particularly for the current students working on their thesis research. "You have worked hard and achieved so much," Professor Zhao remarked. "As you move forward, remember that the pursuit of knowledge never ends, and continue to strive for excellence and never stop learning."
Following Professor Zhao, Party Secretary Zheng Yutao addressed the graduates, praising their dedication and hard work. He kindly invited them to return to the school whenever they wished."Our doors are always open to you," he said. "You will always be a part of our community, and we look forward to seeing the remarkable things you will accomplish in your future careers."
Vice Dean Han Hong then spoke, reflecting on the unique challenges the students faced during their time at the school. He commended their resilience and adaptability, emphasizing how these qualities would serve them well in their future endeavors. "You have shown incredible strength and determination," he noted. "The skills and resilience you developed here will be invaluable as you continue your professional paths ahead."
Associate Professor Kuang Yalin added a positive and encouraging message, urging the graduates to stay optimistic and face every challenge with a positive attitude. "Stay positive and face every challenge," he advised. "Your mindset will play a big role in your success and happiness. Remember, how you think can shape your entire experience."
The event also provided an opportunity for the students to share their own experiences. Several graduates shared their experiences at the school, sharing stories of friendships, and the support they received from their professors and staff. Sital, a graduate student from Nepal, said: "These years have been transformative. We are leaving here not just with knowledge, but with lifelong memories and friendships. We are grateful for the guidance and support of our faculty, and we are ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead."
Party Secretary Zheng Yutao and Vice Dean Han Hong presented commemorative gifts to the departing students on behalf of SPA, expressing congratulations on their academic success and best wishes for their future endeavors.
