“Guide to the World States” is a book series published by Social Sciences Academic Press, which is a key funded project by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS-Top Research Institute in Social Science in China) and the National Key Research and Development Program of China during the “10th Five-Year Plan”. The publication of this book series covers over 100 countries and organizations which includes comprehensive information as a guide to fully comprehend the country’s geographical environment, history, politics, economy, military, social life, diplomacy etc., serving as the references for Chinese government.
