Description: The Global Hunger Index takes a percentage system to rank countries. The best score is 0, indicating that the country does not exist hunger; full score of 100, indicating that the country is extremely hungry. A score of 10 or more is classified as "severe," 20 or more as "alarming" and 30 or more as "extremely alarming. Djibouti, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Niger, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe have a hunger index of 20-34.9; Burundi, Central African Republic, Comoros, DRC, Somalia and South Sudan have a hunger index of 35-49.9.
